Concept design for Stage 1 of The Crest

Camden Council is focused on delivering staged works identified in the Open Space Master Plan for The Crest, Gledswood Hills.

The Crest Open Space Master Plan was adopted by Council in 2021 following consultation with residents and other stakeholders. At the time Council committed to further developing a detailed design of the proposed Stage 1 works.

The overall Master Plan has been broken into smaller stages to allow Council to best manage the development of the site. The delivery of Stage 1A will be the first to be delivered, with future stages to be developed in line with the master plan the Master Plan.

Stage 1A works will consist of:

  • bicycle adventure course incorporating learn to ride components,
  • car park,
  • shared pathway network,
  • shelters,
  • seating and
  • landscaping works.

These works are proposed to be completed in 2024.

  • Visit Council's Administration Building in Oran Park to look through copies which can also be found in the Camden, Narellan and Oran Park libraries.

  • Join us at a drop-in session on Wednesday 27 September 2023 between 3.30pm and 5.30pm to take a look at large scale plans and learn more about the site proposal. We will be located in the open space on Serenity Circuit, Gledswood Hills.
