Camden Council is partnering with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to host financial literacy workshops for women.

Instead of setting days, times and topics that won't suit the busy women of our community, we are inviting you to tell us what will work best for you.

Here's what is proposed:

  • A series of 4 workshops would be conducted during November and December 2025.
  • Workshops would be free but registration will be required.
  • They could be held on Thursdays or Fridays but we'd like to learn what time is best.
  • A variety of topics will be covered but we'd like to hear what is most important to you.

The four workshops will be delivered by Dr Natalie Yoon-na Oh, an academic from University of New South Wales Business School. They are designed for women in the Camden LGA to empower their financial future. The workshops form part of a strategic education series led by Dr Oh under the ‘Finance for All’ initiative, which is dedicated to advancing financial capability in Australia and beyond. She will also lead the research activities associated with the project, evaluating the feasibility and impact of gender-responsive financial education models.
