Camden Council’s Community Planning and Development Team are reviewing the current Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) and developing another DIAP for the 2022-2026 period.
This is a NSW Government legislative requirement which documents how Council intends to support the continuous improvement of access and inclusion by engaging with community, business, services and all levels of government to improve inclusion and the accessibility of information, services and facilities it provides.
The development of a new DIAP and its future implementation will be led by Council’s Community Project Officer, Ageing and Disability and will guide the priorities for improving access and inclusion delivery recommendations for Council, the wider disability sector and community across the Camden LGA.
Camden Council is developing its 2022-2026 Disability Inclusion Action Plan and we are seeking information on how best to improve our services, facilities and communications.
Your thoughts and ideas for making Camden a more inclusive and accessible place are important to us so we are taking some time to listen and learn.

NOTE: We offered an incentive for survey participation by 7 January 2022. 7 prize winners will be randomly drawn and notified in the week of 10/1/22. The survey will remain open until further notice.
