  • Top three factors influencing participants' choice of playspace: Variety of play equipment and experiences, availability of shade, and cleanliness.
  • Specific suggestions: Fence, shade, safety and accessible
  • Supported the new location for the playspace.

What we're doing?

  • Play Equipment: Installation of a three-piece play set, including swings, slides, climbing elements, and a sensory play experience.
  • Shade: Planting of canopy shade trees to provide shade for the playspace.
  • Accessible: Wheelchair-accessible pathway linking the car park to the existing change room building, and wheelchair accessible picnic setting
  • Safety: Sandstone block retaining wall with fencing to create a safety barrier between the playspace and the car park.
