Local Business Shout-out

Camden Council’s Small Business Month program will give small businesses the opportunity to enhance your community profile, nurture and build relationships with peers and potential customers, and acquire new skills and ideas to strengthen your business position. To find out more about the program and other business development opportunities across NSW during Small Business Month, visit Council’s website.

Camden Council will be celebrating Small Business Month in March this year and is delivering a program that aims to give local community members the opportunity to thank their local business’ for their continued effort throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The community have supported and relied heavily on the work and efforts by the local businesses in Camden.

Camden Council is celebrating our amazing local businesses by getting the community on board. An online thank you platform has been established to encourage the community to shout out to their favourite local businesses.

Share the link with your customers encouraging them to get involved. Spread where you have supported #camdenbought, by shouting out to your own favourite businesses!

As part of its Small Business Month program, Council is calling on the community to share their thanks and shout out local businesses to form a wave of messages promoting #camdenbought. Drop a pin on your favourite business, write a message and even upload a photo to show your #camdenlove for the business. You might want to tell us about:

  • A local business favourite
  • Your favourite places to stay across Camden LGA
  • Your favourite places to eat and drink
  • Best places in Camden to take the kids
  • Best places to go for a night out?
  • Businesses that help you explore the great outdoors
  • Businesses that made you feel included and promote access for all

These messages will be collected and form a mural of messages for businesses to access.

Council will review each submission before it is published to our interactive map. Council reserves the right to withdraw any submissions that are offensive or inappropriate.

We want to thank our local businesses for their continued efforts, so we ask that users be respectful when posting their messages.
