We know that as our population grows and changes, we need more of the right types of community and cultural facilities, in the right places.

Community and cultural facilities are the places and spaces where we access the services, programs and resources we need to lead healthy, happy and connected lives. They are where our children learn and play, where we borrow books or listen to local stories, or celebrate with our friends and neighbours. They are where we take an art class, try new technology, or learn a new skill.

Council is preparing its first Community and Cultural Facilities Framework which will help us to plan, deliver and advocate for the community and cultural facilities we need for the next 10 to 20 years.
