Help us to develop a Framework for Social Cohesion

Camden Council is developing a Framework for Social Cohesion which will provide a strategic approach to fostering a more inclusive and connected community.

In plain language that means we have a nice, happy community who feels like they belong and get-along.

The framework will highlight the vital role that diversity, belonging, and equal opportunity play in strengthening social cohesion to ensure all residents feel valued and included.

Three key pillars will guide the framework:

1. A Sense of Belonging: A community where individuals feel safe, supported, respected and celebrated.
2. Equitable Opportunities for All: A community where issues of inequality and disadvantage are actively addressed.
3. Acceptance/ Harmony: A community where people are well-informed and free from systematic issues of intolerance and discrimination.

This framework will set a clear direction for how Council will work collaboratively with its residents, community groups, businesses and more, to support a thriving, diverse and united Camden.

The personal information you provide to Camden Council is being collected for the purpose of data collection and research to inform the development of a Framework for Social Cohesion. It will be used by Camden Council staff and will not be shared with any other party unless required by law. After it is no longer necessary for Camden Council to keep the information, it will be disposed of securely and in accordance with applicable laws and Camden Council policies and procedures.
