Community Land Plan of Management

Camden Council is seeking comment during public exhibition of a Draft Plan of Management for Community Land.

A Plan of Management (PoM) is a crucial document that helps Camden Council to strategically manage and use their assets and services. The Local Government Act 1993 requires councils to prepare a plan for each area of community land they manage. Additionally, the Crown Land Management Act 2016 requires that councils prepare a plan of management for Crown land under their control, just as they would for community land.

Camden Council has prepared a Plan of Management for Community Land to ensure the effective management of assets and services while meeting the needs of the community in a sustainable and efficient manner.

The Draft Plan is now on public exhibition with submissions accepted between 3 July and 14 August 2023.

At the conclusion of the public exhibition, Council will carefully consider each submission made and may decide to amend the PoM based on submissions or to adopt the PoM as is.
