Help us to develop a Framework for Social Cohesion
Camden Council is developing a Framework for Social Cohesion which will provide a strategic approach to fostering a more inclusive and connected community.
The framework will highlight the vital role that diversity, belonging, and equal opportunity play in strengthening social cohesion to ensure all residents feel valued and included.
Three key pillars will guide the framework:
- A Sense of Belonging: A community where individuals feel safe, supported, respected and celebrated.
- Equitable Opportunities for All: A community where issues of inequality and disadvantage are actively addressed.
- Acceptance/ Harmony: A community where people are well-informed and free from systematic issues of intolerance and discrimination.
This framework will set a clear direction for how Council will work collaboratively with its residents, community groups, businesses and more, to support a thriving, diverse and united Camden.
