Summary of Proposed Amendments

This Planning Proposal seeks to make amendments to:

Camden Local Environmental Plan 2010 (Camden LEP 2010)

This Planning Proposal seeks to increase the existing 9.5m building height limit to a range of heights including 13m, 16m, 20m and 24m, and adjust the boundary of the neighbourhood centre.

The changes are supported by amendments to Development controls within the Camden Development Control 2019 (DCP). The proposed amendments to the DCP include the addition of a schedule with site specific controls.

Background Information

The Planning Proposal was previously notified in August to October 2020 in conjunction with a Concept Development Application (DA) for a seniors housing development. Following changes to the Planning Proposal and withdrawal of the Concept DA, further initial notification of the revised Planning Proposal is being undertaken.

Exhibition period: 28 March until 22 April 2022

During the exhibition period any person, community group, organisation or public agency may make a submission to Council concerning a Planning Proposal. Submissions can be made by completing an online form, sending an email or posting a letter.
